Fall Leaf Garland

We've been making a lot of crafts this last week since our crate from the States came. One of them was a leaf garland. We went to the local park and found lots of different shaped leaves and took them home. Then we did rubbings off of them with crayons, drew with some glitter glue on them, and then cut them out before hanging them on some hemp twine. The kids loved how the rubbings turned out, like magic!

Fun from the Goodwill

Mom and I went shopping at the Goodwill a few weeks ago. It was a great trip, I found a little freestanding towell bar that I need to figure out what color I'm going to paint it. I also found a perfect pampered chef turning utensil holder for $3! But my favorite find was these two oak wall plaques cut in the shape of the state of Arizona. There was something about that I really liked and they were only 99cents each, so it was a steal. Here's what I did with them. I have to do one more that I'm going to give to my Mom, but I have to find another AZ map.

Silhouettes

Total quick and dirty post, but I really wanted to show off what I made tonight! This has been on my future projects list for a long, long time. In fact, I've had the frames sitting on my desk for about a year and a half! I think the silhouettes turned out beautifully.

I made it!

Remember last week when I posted about the jellybean monogram? Well, I made it! I did go with multi colors. I love it.
