Easter Holiday Part 1

We had such a lovely visit in the States over our Easter holiday.  It was amazing to to see my folks and get to hug on them all the time.  I miss them so much, it's really hard to be away from them and not see them on a regular basis. When we got off the plane after a 10 1/2 hour flight and waiting in customs for a good hour, we walked out of the gate to be met by my parents who were wearing bunny ears (don't ask).  The kids ran up to them and hugged the pudding out of them.  It made me cry a little to see them embracing each other with such love.  One of the few bad things about living in England is that the kids aren't able to continue to cultivate their extremely close relationship that they have with their Grandma and Grandpa as they have before.

We did what we said we would do, and drove straight to our favorite pizza place, Spinatos, and had a proper sausage and pepperoni pizza, extra crispy.  It was delicious!

Aunt Rene and Mom.  I love this picture of the two of them laughing.

Two of the nicest people you could ever meet.  Aunt Rene and Uncle Perk have always been my favorites.  They are dear, sweet people.  I love them and appreciate them so much.

During our visit we did a lot of shopping.  I had a proper pedicure.  We ate at all of our favorite restaurants.  We went to Vegas.  We got tanned.  But, the best times to be had was being able to spend time with our friends and family.  My Aunt Rene and Uncle Perk flew in from Indiana to visit with us and Jon's brother Christopher flew in from Chicago to see us as well.

I have lots more postings to do about our holiday...stay posted.
