Malahide, Ireland

On our last day in Ireland we decided to go for a ride.  We wanted to see the Irish sea, not from the ferry.  We drove to a suburb out of Dublin and walked alongside the sea till we came to a large break.  We climbed over the rocks and found lots of small rocks with holes in them that I hope to turn into rustic necklaces.  Jocelyn even found a hermit crab (albeit we found out later he had expired) and we thought to take him home with us along with lots of other seashells.

At the end of the break there was a cute little lighthouse with lovely cafe curtains in the windows.  I imagined that there was a cute little old couple that must live there, tending to the lighthouse.

After Malahide, it was time to head home.

We had an amazing time in Ireland.  My only regret is that we didn't get to see more of the countryside.  We were so taken with Dublin and had such an amazing time there that we neglected to explore other parts.  Ireland is certainly worthy of exploration, and I know we will be back to do it!
